OnePlus has just released its latest smartphone, the Nord CE 3 Lite, a successor of the Nord CE 2 Lite as the most affordable device in the company’s lineup. The new phone offers several notable upgrades over its predecessor, including a slightly larger 6.72-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smoother user experience.
Maybe the most significant upgrade comes to the triple-camera setup, which now includes a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor — a good departure from the Nord CE 2 5G’s 64MP main camera and ultrawide sensor. The addition of a depth sensor will be offering improved photography capabilities, And for selfie loves, the 16MP front-facing camera is the icing on the cake.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chip, offering 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging capabilities completes the package. While the battery size remains the same as last year’s model, the upgrade from 33W fast charging means that users can get an 80% charge in just 30 minutes, ensuring that the phone is always ready when they are. The device also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and can boost the speaker volume by 200%, improving the audio experience.
Available for pre-order now in Pastel Lime and Chromatic Grey, the Nord CE 3 Lite is priced at £299/€329 (~$371) and the open sales begin on April 20.
